USE THE FFP2 NR MASK
The FFP2 mask is prepared to protect us from pathogens such as bacteria or viruses, aerosols and non-toxic liquids, such as oil mists. This mask protects against pathogenic biological agents (bacteria, viruses, fungi, and others) while maintaining comfort.
This mask has a minimum filtration efficiency> 95% (BFE).
BFE >> 95% (Bacterial Filtration Efficiency)
PFE> 95% (Particulate Filtration Efficiency)
WHY USE FFP2 AND NON-SURGICAL MASKS?
The FFP2 mask protects you and also protects other people in case you are infected.
The surgical mask does not protect against viruses as it does not have anti-viral filtering capacity, for this and other reasons it is not considered Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
COVID19 has been shown to be present in aerosols emitted by infected people. If you travel through public places such as public transport, shopping centers, work centers with a lot of staff, etc. We recommend wearing FFP2 masks to protect yourself.
The surgical mask offers a small barrier protection so that an infected person does not emit aerosols with COVID19. What makes your safety depend on the widespread use of masks by third parties and is a partial barrier, since it does not filter the exhaled air.
When in doubt, opt for better protection and use FFP2.
WHO IS THE FFP2 RECOMMENDED FOR?
HOW IS THE FFP2 MASK USED?
- Open the mask being careful not to touch the inside, check that it is correctly oriented with the oblique part outwards and the nose clip at the top.
- Hold the mask against your chin ensuring that the nose and mouth are completely covered. Adjust the shape of the nose clip with both hands so that the tissue around the nose adheres and there are no gaps between the skin and the mask.
- Pull the rubber bands and fasten them behind your ears.If air leaks around the nose, re-adjust the nose clip trying to minimize leakage. Repeat the steps above.
- Adjust the position of the mask ensuring that there are no gaps around the perimeter of the mask and that you can breathe comfortably.
- Adjustment check
- Cover the front of the mask with both hands, taking care not to impair the fit of the mask.
- Exhale strongly.
- If air leaks around the nose, re-adjust the nose clip trying to minimize leakage. Repeat the steps above.
- If air is leaking around the edges, adjust the tension of the strips to eliminate the leaks. Even adding a knot. Repeat the steps above.

Each of the boxes has an individual “ID” that provides us with information on when it was manufactured, with what raw material and which individual operators contributed to its manufacture. EMF obtains the polyamide from the rubbers from a “pre-consumer recycling” process consisting of reusing the waste from conventional polyamide production. This rubber manufacturing is made in a GRS4.0 certified factory.

Análisis de formaldehido
El formaldehido es un compuesto orgánico volátil que se ha demostrado cancerígeno. Algunos fabricantes con el objeto de abaratar costes dejan residuos de este compuesto en los tejidos con el consiguiente riesgo para el consumidor final. EMF evalúa a los proveedores y analiza el tejido para detectar posibles trazas de formaldehido.
Análisis de pH en tejido
EMF mide el pH del tejido que está en contacto con la piel con el objeto de evitar reacciones adversas en el usuario de la mascarilla. En determinadas ocasiones algunos productos llegan al mercado con un pH demasiado acido. Si el producto está en contacto con la piel de personas sensibles puede provocar reacciones adversas.
AZO compound analysis
AZO additives are organic compounds used in fabric dyeing. These compounds despite being carcinogenic are used in some areas of Asia and are prohibited in the European Union. EMF assesses suppliers and analyzes tissue for possible trace amounts of AZO compounds to prevent them from entering our supply chain and reaching the end user.
The waste generated in the manufacture of masks is disposed of responsibly. A part is used to produce electrical energy and another part is recovered turning into recycled textile fiber that will be used in clothing or upholstery.
UVC treatment of masks
During the manufacturing process of the masks and immediately before their packaging, the mask is treated with C-band ultraviolet light. This light has the property of killing any virus and bacteria, so we guarantee the sterility of the product.
